Here at the Apple Store in Fashion Valley at 12:15 pm, I'm typing on my current iPhone to post on my new blog. This is about as techy as I get. I asked about the wait time and was told about 2 hours. We'll see.
Update: It did take two hours and once I get in, there is a problem with my ATT account and how it somehow is set up as a business account and due for some discounts. Apple is not accepting me until I get this cleared.
How can I already be an iPhone owner on a legit account and somehow not able to get the new phone??! I call ATT and get customer service to fix this, but the lady said it will take 15 minutes to 4 hours to register in their system. I leave the Apple Store disgusted.
It's around 2:30 pm and hadn't eaten so I go into Pizzaria Uno for lunch. Finishing my lunch, I call ATT again and talk to an agent who somehow was able to push my account change through. Much happier now, I head back to the Apple Store and finally get my phone. I'm back to work around 4, but it was OK, because I had called and there was no other work for me to do.
I love the phone, but it is not a huge upgrade over my original, which I gave to my son Armando. More on the phone later...
